Maria Laura Lopez is an Argentine attorney who provides the firm's corporate and tax lawyers with international research and general assistance. Prior to joining Marcell Felipe, Ms. Lopez served as Legal Counsel to the Secretariat of Fair Commercial Practices and Consumer Protection in the Argentine Ministry of Economic Affairs. She graduated near the top of her class from the University of Buenos Aires, where she also pursued post-doctoral programs in Banking Law and in Bankruptcy and Restructuring Law. She is a published author on banking law, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws degree from the University of Miami School of Law. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
